FACES AT THE 4TH ANNUAL YORUBA CULTURAL EXCHANGE FESTIVAL,USA
The annual Yoruba Cultural exchange festival, an event packaged by Ambassador Oluwole Akanni Duroladipo, the son of the legendary theatre guru, the late Chief Duroladipo took place in Dallas, USA at Oduduwa hall around 6pm and was full of fun and excitement.
Yoruba is no doubt one of the largest ethnic groups in Africa,yorubas are known to be the king of hospitality, very good in treating people and receiving visitors.
Yorubas are collection of diverse people bound together by a common language,culture,history,ways of dressing and foods. Yoruba people descended from one hero called Oduduwa.
These are things new generations home and abroad don't know about,also the aspect of moral ethics.
Cultural Ambassador Mr Wole Akani Duro-ladipo came up with Yoruba Cultural exchange festival which will help to impact positive changes in the life of younger ones around the globe.
Also to promote Yoruba culture among other countries around the world like Brazil, America, Mexico etc by introducing cultural exchange festival,
hereby to introduce different cultures to bring up same result, meaning and message.
This year festival featured lots of people and ethnic groups from different countries, particularly from Nigeria like Popular Lagos Eyo Masquerade, Kegite gyration group and others. The event was anchored by Ibadan based Radio Presenter Otunba Kola Olootu and music by Gbenga Falope
