NOLLYWOOD COMIC ACTOR NKEM OWOH WON LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD AT 2017 AMAA AWARD
The annual Africa Movie Academy Awards, AMAA 13th edition was stormed by movie stars all around Africa at the Eko Hotel& Suites on Saturday, 15th of July, 2017.
The event was hosted by Nollywood actress Nse Ikpe Etim, the last year edition was held at Dr Obi Wali International Conference Centre, Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
Movies such as Nigerian 76, Senegalese Felicite, South African Vaya took home multiple awards with a Nigerian director, Akin Omotosho winning best director but for his South African movie, Vaya.
Nollywood veteran, Nkem Owoh won the award for Lifetime Achievement and the according to the organisers, he seems to be the perfect winner for the award as he has contributed greatly to the creativity of the industry and the entertainment we have enjoyed over the years.
