FEMI SOLAR SPEAKS ON VIRAL SELF-SPRAYING MONEY VIDEO

Jasa gospel singer, Femi Solar, on Friday, broke his silence over a viral video of his performance in Offa, Kwara State penultimate Saturday, where a fan was seen holding a bundle of cash and asked Solar to pick as much as he liked. The two-minute video was trending on social media platform for days and many people who saw it suggested it was a publicity stunt, even as some of them concluded that the spender would demanded for his money after the show. Reacting to the video, Solar said he personally shared the video from his Instagram page account with no intention to create publicity stunt, adding that he was surprised the video had gone viral in less than 24 hours after it was released.
A fan had queried how someone would work hard for his money only for him to go to a party and asked a musician to pick as much as he liked from the money all in the name of seeking for attention. Speaking with R on what he felt about the video that seemed to have made him more popular, Solar, who is know to be a protege of Yinka Ayefele, disclosed that he read some of the negative comments, but he was not bothered. "The man in question is a hard working and influential politician from Osun State and if he chose to appreciate us with his money, whether he sprayed it or asked me to pick as much as I want from it, I don't know why anybody should be worried about that. For me, it was what it is and I have moved on, " he stated.
