Yesterday Lanre Gentry was arranged before Ikaja Magistrate Court for alleged battering his wife.
Lanre Gentry was taken to Court by the Lagos State Government accusing him for domestic violence and other assaults, luckily for him, he was granted bail with two sureties in some of 500,000 and a property around the court jurisdiction.
Unluckily for him By the time Gentry got the sureties, the presiding magistrate was said to have closed for the day.
He was arrested and jailed to spend the night in Kirikiri Prison.
